The candidate should possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in resources mobilization. Experience with a proven track record in resource mobilization work, conducting assessments and surveys, proposal development, program design, selecting indicators, Implementing monitoring plans, and data analysis.


Under the overall direction of National Project Director and reporting to the National Project Coordinator, the Resources Mobilization Officer would be responsible for the following tasks


·         - Identify, describe and justify partnership and resource mobilization possibilities in connection with donor priorities and funding opportunities; Plan and take part in negotiations of partnership agreements with donor agencies;


 Exchange information required for resource mobilization, project formulation and implementation with the PURE Project staff, relevant stakeholders and partners;

·          Be able to think and implement innovative means of generating funds for the fulfillment of the PURE project mandate;


·         The resource mobilisation officer will assist PURE project team to develop the right profile vis-à-vis the donor community (UNDP/GEF), inform NPC & NPD on donor and foundation strategies and funding opportunities, expand the present support base and assure quality of proposals submitted to donors.

Create good working relations with donor organisations e.g. UNDP/GEF and the donor platform on productive use of renewable energy in Chitral & GB.

Organise regular donor meetings to inform donors on PURE project activities, policies and offer discussion platform between PURE project and UNDP/GEF and raise awareness on financial needs in the PUE sector;
Scan the donors’ strategies on a regular basis and identify funding possibilities for the execution of PURE strategic work plan;
Assess options for non-traditional support to PURE project e.g. exchange of officials/experts, provision of technical assistance etc;
Cooperate with the project team to prepare appropriate profile and messages for PURE when approaching current and potential donors;
Liaise with all technical partners UNDP, GEF, AKRSP etc and regularly check websites to guarantee appropriate gathering and sharing of information;
Coordinate with PURE project admin and finance section, national project director and management team to understand funding gaps or funding needs.
Assure timely update on required resources and prioritise the needs in collaboration with PURE project management team;
Assure appropriate lay-out en content (non-technical) of project/programme proposals;
Inform the NPD of PURE project on a regular basis on funding opportunities and relational issues with technical and other partners;
Update PURE project resource mobilisation strategy whenever required.

 MasterMasters Degree Masters degree in Masters degree or higher in relevant studies (such as Economics, Development Studies, Political Science, International Studies and other related studies) from a recognised university.
