The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department launched “Assistance to Governance Reforms and Practices in Balochistan” Project in the province with the technical assistance of United Nations Development Program to improve public services delivery. The project aims at
strengthening and alignment of provincial and local government institutions to implement devolution and related governance reform; ii) improvement in access to information for effective decision making, planning and monitoring at provincial and local government levels; and iii) strengthening of participatory local governance mechanisms.
As part of the Education Joint Program by the UN partner agencies, UNDP Project AGRPB is intervening to improve Education Governance in the Province. To enhance the knowledge and skills of education managers regarding their respective roles and responsibilities, the Project is aiming to provide technical assistance in the development of training module for the capacity building of education managers. The training on the technical aspects of the module development will be imparted to the officers of Bureau of Curriculum (BOC) to enhance their skill in the module development

The modules for the training on education management have been developed by different organizations for the Education Department. To update the module according to the modern day’s requirement of the Province the BOC is presently reviewing the already developed modules on the subject. A total of 12 experts from BOC are working on the subject. The 12 officials have been divided into three teams who are working on following five schemes of studies.
• Planning and Management
           SNE, PC1, Project Planning and Management, and School Management
• Financial Rules
            Financial Management
• District Administration and School Administration
           Office Management, Service rules, Job description/HR & Resource Management
• Monitoring and Evaluation
            Data Collection, assessment and School Supervision
• Miscellaneous
            Community Participation, Presentation and communication, and IT

A five days training on the technical aspects of the module development will be imparted to the module development team of BOC to enhance their skill in the module development.
The objective of the training is to enhance the capacity of officers designated by BOC on the technical aspects of module development and assist them in reviewing the existing modules on Education Management and developing the revised and updated module.

• Provision of technical facilitation in revising the draft module

Note, The non local Firms/Individual consultants shall submit separate proposals for conducting  the training at Quetta and the financial proposal for conducting the training at the institute outside Quetta.
