Experience:

At lease 3 years experience of finance and administration. He/ She should be proficient in use of computers and all software related to office work including, word processing, spreadsheets and databases. He/ She should preferably be familiar with the standard procedures of finance and admin and any financial software.

Description:
 

The incumbent will perform the following tasks:
 
  • Ensure that appropriate finance system is maintained and all procedures and control are implemented.
  • Ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for;
  • Manage bank accounts, and the transfer of money to the field offices;
  • Assist the NPM in preparing the budgets and accounts to donors;
  • Maintaining and updating project personnel records including attendance, leave records etc;
  • Assisting in the provision of support services including accounting, travel and secretarial services;
  • Assisting in the procurement/maintenance of the office equipments and its set up;
  • Maintaining and updating project equipment inventories;
  • Maintaining and updating all ledgers as required under the PCOM V: 4.0;
  • General correspondence/co-ordination with UNDP/GoB;
  • Prepare the periodic accounting reports;
  • Responsibilities for day to day administrative affairs of the office;
  • Any other task assigned by the project management ;
