Experience:

 Masters degree in social sciences
 Five (5) years experience in the public sector or as a practicing lawyer
 Proven track record of implementing and managing donor funded projects in the areas of governance
 Demonstrated ability to generate and sustain a policy dialogue amongst diverse stakeholders
 Previous experience of procurement/management of consultants/holding workshops and seminars
 Excellent reporting and management skills
 Proven record of operationalizing and managing a project M&E system
 Ability to work in a complex and multi-stakeholders environment

Description:
 

ý To support the Provincial Project Director in the implementation of the project – “Addressing Gender Justice through Musalihat Anjuman”
ý To act as focal person on behalf of UNDP during implementation of the project activities in the province and provide institutional backstopping
ý To assist and coordinate with Provincial LG&RD departments as well as relevant district governments for project implementation
ý To liaise with and facilitate provincial LG&RD Departments/other provincial IAs in the conduct of Provincial Steering Committee meetings, besides subsequent follow up
ý To regularly coordinate with the District Governments and Union Administrations in the pilot districts for ensuring smooth functioning of Musalihat Anjuman and other project activities
ý To assist NPM and other project bodies in procurement of services for implementation of project activities.
ý To ensure proper monitoring and quality of output of the consultants hired for performing assigned tasks in the respective provinces
ý To assist and liaise with MASS in carrying out a capacity development programme for the members of MA in pilot districts
ý To ensure establishment and smooth functioning of MAJA networks at the level of pilot districts
ý To act as focal person for data collection about all monitoring indicators developed for the project in the respective provinces
ý To regularly provide periodic reports to the PSC, NSC and PPD on project progress and other related issues
ý To regularly visit the pilot districts for backstopping and institutional support as and when required
ý To perform any other duties as required by NPM and PPD
