a. Lead the development of EMIS in the concerned Agency/ Agency (ies) under the
direct supervision of the designated focal point (s) of the Nodal Agency (ies) and
under the guidance of NEIMS Project
b. Coordinate with the EIS Coordinator, NEIMS for the analysis of project requirements, architectural design and implementation of EIS and providing progress reports.
c. Provide leading role in programming EMIS application and implementing design architecture.
d. Assist Nodal Agency (ies) in identification, analysis and collection of environment related data from different sources related to environment, provide descriptive information (metadata) where needed in coordination with the concerned agency, arrange datasets in the sector specific databases, and its integration with the centrally coordinated Inter-Sectoral database.
e. Work with other development team members to develop application for EMIS.
f. Analyzing environmental information management system needs as well as designing
constructing, and maintaining computer applications software and specialized utility
programs.
g. Install and test database management systems and related systems by quality assurance.
h. Provide guidance to buy hardware related to Local Area Network and establishment of databases for NEIMS.
i. Design and establish LAN for EIMS.
j. Manage hardware trouble shooting, software installation for NEIMS, Trouble shoot network related problems.
k. Design monthly and weekly workflow plan for the development team of the NEIMS Project.
l. Identify and manage resources, risks an procurement related to the project
· m. Manage and monitor implementation of Project activities and coordinate with the
concerned partners to ensure timely completion and quality deliverables/ products.
m. Making recommendations for process improvements and corrective actions
· o. Ensure effective management of funds (where applicable) to manage costs effectively
