Experience:

At least 5 years of work experience in the field of information management preferably in the humanitarian and development sectors. Familiar with data collection methods, tools and monitoring plans, Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented work style, Interest and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision Excellent ability to quickly grasp and synthesize inputs, Fluency in oral/written English and Urdu.

Description:
 

The Information Management Officer will report to the Provincial Programme Manager and perform the following tasks:
 
  • Building upon information management systems and mechanisms put into place by UNDP and the cluster lead agencies, ensures development and implementation of an information management strategy in the context of support for early recovery coordination.
  • Ensures identification of information requirements to support coordination of early recovery activities and in support of early recovery decision making.
  • Ensures identification of data standards and key datasets pertinent to the early recovery process.
  • Organize information management data into the DAD (Development Assistance Database) or another in-house data management system for use by key stakeholders.
