Under the overall guidance of Project Director the Project Coordinator (PC) will have the responsibility of providing coordination and advisory services which include responsibility to:
Organize joint planning meetings involving UNDP and other relevant parties to develop an annual work plan and a corresponding budget plan with clearly stated milestones contributing to the achievement of target outputs defined in the initiation plan and get it cleared by the National Project Director before presentation to the Project Review Board for approval
Develop quarterly work plans and expenditure plans based on the agreed annual work-plan for approval by the Project Review Board;
Prepare Terms of References (TORs) for required inputs i.e. individual and institutional consultancy services, procurement of goods and services, organization of training, seminars, etc. and expert technical support as required;
Develop and update a project communication and management plan;
Monitor project financial flows with required checks and balances in place;
Maintain issue logs and risk logs.
Monitor project progress against annual and quarterly work plan and budget plans
Provide advice to the NPD and PRB on policy engagement, dialogue, advocacy and knowledge transfer;
Monitor and analyze the programme environment and advise the PRB on timely readjustment of project strategies and activities especially as input into the medium term assistance.
