The Womens Political School (WPS) is an initiative of the Ministry of Women Development supported by UNDP Gender Support Programme of which the Norwegian Government is an important partner. The programme focuses on political education of councilors to enable them to raise concerns in the policy agenda. WPS outputs are as under
· A holistic and integrated capacity development programme for women councillors delivered;
· Adequate and reliable support networks and systems for women participating in political processes facilitated and strengthened; and
· Institutional capacities of relevant training organisations/institutes, governmental departments and civil society strengthened.

Description (TORs) The National Technical Advisor is responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of the nation wide project. This includes
Formulate annual work plans & annual budgets and submit according to the schedule for approval to the FSC
Prepare and implement quarterly operational plans according to the strategic framework
Liaise and coordinate project activities with provincial offices/teams
Select, hire and supervise resource persons/short-term experts (as and when needed) to carry out the project work plan activities
Manage the mobilization and provision on inputs of the projects and production of outputs, according to the project document and the procedures provided in the project cycle operations manual (PCOM).
Prepare and revise project work plans and budgets
Oversee all the financial and administrative aspects of the project, on a day-to-day basis, as specified in PCOM.
Assist in organizing mid-term monitoring and evaluation missions
Prepare and submit Annual progress reports and other required reporting material.
Organize an monitoring and evaluation system to ensure appropriate analysis and desired results are achieved
Provide administrative and logistical support to key meetings, which may be held during the life of the project
