Experience:

Professional in the area of print and electronic media. Handling NGO networks and work with grassroots level organization. At least 2-3 years of experience in the specific tasks, in-depth experience and understanding of Cultural sensitivities of different provinces of Pakistan and dealing, coordinating with NGOs accordingly to carry out different activities. Be well versed with the use of computer and applications related to media.

Description:
 

Background:
After successful completion of the Project “Support to National Elections in Pakistan”, The Election Commission of Pakistan and several donors expressed a strong interest in continued support to electoral assistance and reforms. The project is being implemented in close collaboration with ECP and will promote strategic partnership between ECP & CSOs for strengthening electoral processes in Pakistan. The intended outcome of the project is legal and institutional frameworks that enable free, fair, transparent and credible elections at all levels in place.

Job Descriptions:
The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Project Manager to carry out the following specific tasks to achieve all the project objectives:

Assist in Project’s communications operations both internal and external

Assist in coordinating the Project’s media related activities through contracting to communication agencies and civil society organizations;

Assist in organizing media events (democracy camps, theater performances, trainings, workshops);

Assist in development of in house publication with the use of Corel Draw, Photoshop, MS Publisher etc.;

Coordinate the development of publications – hardcopy, multimedia and/ or web-based, and provide quality control in line with the Project’s corporate identity standards;

Ensure that regular publications (case studies, research reports/ papers, Project updates, occasional papers, newsletters, etc.) are printed, and updated (in case of website) in a timely and consistent manner;

To perform any other duties as required by the Project Manager or Line Manager.

 Secondary School CertificateMatriculation / O levels Bachelor degree in related field from a reputable university recognized by HEC is desirable.
