Experience:

At least 5-10 years experience in social communications, donor and/or media relations, marketing of social services, or related experience; Possess leadership and problem-solving skills; Strong management vision and skills; Strong knowledge of governance issues in Pakistan, particularly pertaining to the current national reconstruction process in general and devolution in particular; Have a strong commitment to community participation and empowerment; Have sensitivity to gender issues; Have a wide network/linkage with different development institutions in the country; Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with people from different cultures/backgrounds.

Description:
 

The Donors Relations Officer (DRO) will work under the immediate supervision of Director Public and Donors Relations (PDR) and coordinate with directors & team members of other functional teams at DTCE, under the direction and guidance of Director PDR. The DRO would be required to undertake the following assignments: 1. Under advise and direction of the Director PDR, undertake planning and implementation of innovative policies to ensure sustained and strengthened donor support for DTCE's operations 2. Coordinate donor visits to DTCE’s operational areas and document the processes for organizational level sharing 3. Act as the focal point for all requests for information, coordination, queries, clarifications, from the donors vis-à-vis DTCE’s operations 4. To design and undertake an integrated awareness campaign of DTCE operating policies in connection with public and media relations. 5. Undertake reporting highlighting “100% Transparency and Zero Tolerance for Corruption” policy for sharing with Donors. This will be undertaken in close coordination with Directorate of Finance Adm. & Legal, IME and FOT teams. 6. Undertake field visits to support the donor relation’s information, learning and sharing processes, and to provide support to the FOT teams, as and when required. 7. Participate in planning; implementation, information-sharing and evaluation processes of organizational operations and interventions to ensure donor specific core functions are adequately represented in broader organizational plans and frameworks. 8. Liaise with other stakeholders, such as local government, partners/potential partners, civil society organizations/ associations/ movements, advocacy groups, relevant media, agencies and personnel, NGOs/CBOs, CCBs and local opinion leaders/formers, to ensure perspective and practices from the field feed into, and inform, reports and briefs undertaken for the donors as part of on-going advocacy and resource mobilization efforts. 9. Coordinate with DTCE donors community and undertake donors support actions at the field level. 10. Design various formats and reports for information sharing and dissemination of DTCE operations at the functional levels; also to collect relevant data, reports, and information from other sources. 11. Liaise with print and electronic media agencies and personnel, opinion formers and citizens for DTCE advocacy and promotional activities. 12. Act as a focal point for DTCE donor related activities, undertake donors’ missions and assist them during field visits and local operations. 13. Undertake any other activity planned as part of the Public and Donor Relations Directorate for institutional support and development. Candidates are required to apply online only.
