Under the overall guidance of the UNODC Country Representative Pakistan and direct supervision of National Programme Officer, Drugs & HIV/AIDS, the Project Assistant will ensure timely delivery of the project outputs.
More specifically, the incumbents will:
Facilitate development and maintenance of a database of resource persons, capacitated organizations, potential/current donors;
Facilitate missions by the project team to the seven SAARC countries for carrying out project related activities.
Taking dictation on a variety of subject matters and transcribing them on the computer;
Attending telephone calls, fixing appointments, making travel arrangements;
Handling the correspondence, maintaining follow-up systems;
Maintaining office records and reference files;
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and NGO database using, Power point, excel or MS- Access software. Handling emails using Lotus Notes;
Liaise and follow up with various regional NGOs, government departments for the project’s work;
Provide secretarial assistance to the Project team and consultants;
Perform other duties as assigned by the National Programme Officer, Drugs & HIV/AIDS.
