Experience:

At least 5 years experience in M & E skills in community based projects.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Familiarity with local languages and customs and tradition will be an advantage. GIS related qualification / experience will be given preference.
Literacy in GIS, will be an added skill

Description:
 

Under the overall guidance of the National Programme Director and National Programme Coordinator and the direct supervision of the M & E Specialist and in close cooperation with the other Programme staff, the M & E Officer will perform the following tasks:

Compilation of monthly/ quarterly and annual work plans.

Recording / collection of data on the designed formats.

Monitoring of ongoing program activities and verification of progress on the ground

Identify areas of study and carrying out case studies, impact assessment etc.

Updating community organizations databases and its reporting on the prescribed formats (electronic or paper based) to the head office / PMU

Coordination with the all the project professional staff in implementation of the program activities.

Carrying out any other special assignment given by the National Programme Director, National Programme Coordinator and M & E Specialist
