Experience:

At least 5 years experience in M & E skills preferably in community based projects / programmes. Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills. Familiarity with local languages and customs and tradition will be an advantage. GIS related qualification / experience will be given preference.

Description:
 

Background:

Bio Saline II (October 2006 – September 2010) aims at developing community driven sustainable farming systems for the rehabilitation of waterlogged and salt affected lands to improve livelihoods in three districts of Punjab namely Hafizabad, Jhang and Sargodha.

The Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant will work under the overall supervision of Project Director and Project Manager and will be directly reporting to the District Manager and get guidance from M&E Specialist

Scope of work

 Compilation of monthly/ quarterly and annual work plans.

 Recording / collection of data on the designed formats.

 Monitoring of ongoing program activities and verification of progress on the ground.

 Identify areas of study and carrying out case studies, impact assessment etc.

 Updating community organizations databases and its reporting on the prescribed formats (electronic or paper based) to the head office / PIU.

 Coordination with all the project professional staff in implementation of the program activities.

 Carrying out any other special assignment given by the Project Director, Project Manager and M & E Specialist.

The candidate must be fluent in English (especially writing).
