At least 5 years of accounting experience including maintenance of accounts, project expenditures and claims, amicable management of project bank account, development of budget sheets for financial reporting, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statements. S/he should also have good command on written and spoken English and computer literacy of MS Word and Excel.

Description:
 

The terms of reference for the position includes the following duties:

Maintenance of finance and complete record keeping

Maintaining complete accounts and related record keeping

Using prescribed format and softwares for maintaining finance /account and related work of PIU

Monitoring accounts, acquisition, disbursement, etc. of PIUs

Incorporating advance requests, budgets, etc. of Sub-programme

Meeting all related deadlines

Handling all projects and programme expenditures

Maintenance of claims

Amicable management of project bank account(s)

Development budget sheets according to workplans

Development of quarterly advance requests

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statements

Assistance for purchase and procurement

Disbursement and related work according to PCOM

Maintenance of all records and files related to banking, finance and accounting

Other miscellaneous office related tasks.
