Demonstrated interest in Forestry/natural resources, with 4 years experience. S/he should have good social skills especially interpersonal and communication. Excellent computer skills including familiarity with a people soft system is required. Hands on experience in finance and administration is needed. Fluency in Urdu and English is required.


Under the guidance and supervision of SGP PTF Coordinator, responsible for the overall management of the programme, the PA will provide assistance and backstopping in programme related activities. In specific s/he will perform the following:

Assists in organizing National Steering Committee (NSC) meetings and workshops for SGP PTF, including preparation of background material, working papers for briefing and review sessions, taking minutes and circulating them,

Preparing Memoranda of Agreement for approved projects after ensuring that all requirements are met in accordance with NSC instructions.

Arrange for periodic disbursement of grant money to grantees, subject to the satisfactory performance of partner organizations

Using Atlas (People Soft? ERP System) to prepare monthly financial statements, generating financial reports from ATLAS, keep track of financial transactions, processing payments and closely monitoring the budget,

Undertake periodic visits to project offices to carry out physical inspection of financial records and non-expandable equipment.

Review quarterly progress reports submitted by grantees and propose changes where appropriate.

Update pipeline data for on-going and pipeline projects of SGP PTF in Pakistan. Inform Coordinator about any lapses/gaps; organize data/information for easy follow-up.

Disseminate the programme and procedural information related to SGP PTF, to NGOs/CBOs and other potential partners.

Providing/arranging logistics for participants of NSC session/meetings, workshops, seminars, meetings, missions, etc.

Provide assistance to the implementing NGOs regarding SGP PTF procedures and reporting in line with PTF Pakistan Project Implementation Guidelines. 
Maintain filing records and catalogue the reports, publications etc.
Any other programme related task as assigned by the PTF Coordinator.
