Experience:

5 years of proven work experience in relevant field;

Description:
 

• Ensure mainstreaming of gender across quantitative, qualitative and process indicators of inputs, outputs and outcome/s of RAHA and the sub-projects • Ensure implementation of RAHA’s social protection strategy in line with the project outcomes, outputs and activities. • Undertake field visits to monitor the implementation of activities as may be required. • Ensure results based reporting against all RAHA outcomes, outputs and activities. • Advocate gender and social protection with key government departments at the provincial and local levels. • Ensure capacity building of RAHA staff on gender and social protection. • Advance a policy oriented agenda, creating Visibility (where appropriate) of issues related to women’s human rights and social protection • Guide and support the RAHA partners in following the developed monitoring system and ensure regular flow of information between RAHA and its partners in the form of agreed reports and documents. • Provide stewardship to RAHA partners, in the area of responsibility, for effective implementation of sub-projects through backstopping, guidelines, capacity building, monitoring and reporting with regard to gender and social protection. • Facilitate and support the mid-term and end of the project evaluation studies of the RAHA supported initiatives. • Guide and coordinate the review of the project log frame including provision of technical advice for the revision of performance indicators to ensure that realistic intermediate and end-of-project targets are defined; • Support Information Systems Assessments on agreed: (1) indicators and targets for monitoring; (2) objective criteria (and data sources) for the evaluation; and (3) means for obtaining the needed information. • Ensure implementation & documentation of targets and performance indicators to be included in monitoring system for project activities, annual reviews and reports. • Support the PMU team in timely preparation and submission of reports to UNDP/donors, etc. • Compile data sources, employing collection and analysis of monitoring data. • Provide gender related inputs for incorporation of gender perspective in implementation of programme components of RAHA project (livelihood’s social cohesion, skills development, CPI implementation, social services, environment) • Leveraging the resources of Governments and partners and build strategic alliances and partnerships. • Provide need-based assistance to Gender and Social Protection Coordinator at Islamabad to achieve milestones related to gender and social protection • Perform any other duties as required by the Project and NPM for achieving the above objectives.
