Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment (DTCE) is a registered entity, which aims at creating an enabling environment for citizen participation and community empowerment in Pakistan. Duties and Responsibilities

The Receptionist/Telephone Operator will perform his/ her duties in order to provide communication assistance to entire DTCE staff. He/She must understand the sensitivity of the position and be able to manage the telephone exchange efficiently. He/ She will also undertake certain assignments related to office administration support. The person will be responsible for the following tasks:

Be available at the reception desk during the office hours to attend incoming and outgoing telephone calls.

To monitor the flow of outgoing calls and keep the management informed on regular basis.

To ensure smooth functioning of office exchange system and its subsidiary links.

To attend official guests at the reception desk and arrange their meetings with the concerned staff members.  Also ensure that all incoming guest fill in the requisite information in the register of visitors at the reception desk.

To send and receive office faxes, letters, and other related papers to/ from other offices and organizations.

To maintain a record of all official outgoing mails and ensures their timely delivery.

Prepare and maintain a database of all staff members’ names, addresses, telephone and mobile numbers.

Also maintain a database of important telephone numbers and addresses.

To undertake any other related assignment given the DTCE management.

Supervised by:

The Receptionist will work under the supervision of Administrative Officer.

Language Requirement

He/ She should be able to communicate, write and read in English and perform as an effective team member with good organizational, problem-solving and result oriented skills.
