Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in implementation of development projects at regional and community levels including relevant experience in multi-sectoral, area-based development programmes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, report writing and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Fluency in English and knowledge of local languages. Directly reporting to the Director General, Projects and working under the overall guidance of the National Project Coordinator based in Islamabad, the key responsibilities of the Programme Manager include: • Prepare annual and periodic work plans for the projects • Responsible for the overall l results and performance of the RAHA project according to an agreed work plan for the respective province. Provide technical backstopping to all programme components and ensure that activities are on track and in accordance with the Annual Work Plan. • The Programme Manager will work in close collaboration with concerned officials and partners at the national and local levels to plan and implement the project. The field manager will be expected to provide strategic coordination support to all partners (Participating UN agencies, FATA Secretariat, as well as partner NGOs) through information provision, meetings as appropriate. • Provide support to the FATA Task Force, headed by the Additional Chief Secretary FATA, and consist of representatives from the relevant line departments, agency actors, UN participating agencies as well as civil society. • Keep track and maintain accounts of project funds in line with the relevant guidelines of UNDP/PCOM. • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the PC, Project director, regarding status of implementation of project activities. • Organize, facilitate and coordinate meetings as necessary. • The Project Manager will be required to carry out regular monitoring of the projects to ensure that the programme is achieving the required targets. • Assign responsibilities and deliverables to project staff in consultation with the NPC and NPD and continue to monitor their progress to ensure that planned activities are successfully completed
